Bay Window

Bay Windows are much desired by homeowners because of the way the project outwards to extend a home, creating more living space. Bay windows are versatile, and they can be primary front living room window or can also be used as a side or rear window or anywhere there is sufficient exterior projection space.

Bay windows are more of an aesthetic compared to bow windows. Bay windows are usually smaller and the main purpose of these windows are to allow in more light then traditional single or double hung windows. These windows also protrude outwards from the wall catching more light and allowing a brighter room during regular daylight hours.

Bay windows are versatile, and many people also like them because they make the interior of any room look larger.

There are 2 main types of Bay Windows:

  • Box Bay (flat, angular)
  • Semi or Half Circle Bay (smooth, curved)
